You are basically signing up for a membership to a wholesaler, kind of like Sams club…BUT they only sell what you need! A tube of toothpaste instead of 6.
They also have all NON TOXIC products.
Cancers, asthsma, skin problems and so on can be caused from household cleaning supplies, soaps, and laundry detergent.
This wholesaler is all about WELLNESS!

I am a Melaleuca customer. I chose to pursue this as a business as well. It will take time, but you can do it.
I figured I was in a win/win situation. Even if I didn’t pursue as a business and if I wasn’t successful, I was still getting healthier, safer products for my family at a good price.
But, I’m pleased with my success in the business. It’s all relative to the time and energy that it put into it.

I was looking into MLM but the money it costs to get in to the program seems outrageous compared to companies like melaleuca & amway? I went to a meeting and it just painted a dream of making a lot of money any ideas???
WELL i am not sure if it is it looks like a standard MLM pyramid but here is what does look fishy to me. First they require you to pay a 500$ and this is under part 12 of their rep agreement plan
“.No purchase or investment is necessary to become a Company Independent Representative other than the purchase of an Independent Representative sales kit which is sold “at Company cost.” (Purchase is optional in North Dakota.)”
ALSO IF YOU PASTE THIS IN TO A GOOGLE SEARCH BAR YOU WILL FIND THAT THEY HAVE TAKE POLICY AND PROCEDURES FROM OTHER COMPANIES, OR JUST BOUGHT A GENERIC FORM OF THEM

Although the primary function of the Company is to sell products and services to the general consuming public, the Company realizes that its Independent Representatives may wish to purchase product for personal or family use in reasonable amounts. For this reason, the Company defines a retail sale to include sales to nonparticipants, as well as purchases for personal or family use in reasonable amounts, which are not made solely for purposes of qualification or advancement. This is a standard followed by leading direct selling companies. It is required that Independent Representatives must reach and keep the required customer maintenance points as outlined in the UCI Compensation Plan Document in order to retain the acquired position.11.Sales Volume Qualification by Order Taking. As with other leading direct selling companies, the Company has adopted minimum personal and group sales volume requirements. I feel the reason that they require you to provide the 500$ is to motivate you to recruit people, but from a unnamed former rep they will charge you 2$ for every check that they send you. In addition once you acquire a few customers it can take up to 6 months before you even see your first energy check.
Here is how I believe how it works. The current month the gas bill is entered you will not receive any money for because they are still obligated to former supplier, second month is the first month of supply, after the bill is paid you should start to receive checks after this month, but you will not because it will receive an “ACCEPTED” status, it is not until it receives an active status until you will receive any money once a month. The personal rep pages from my source do not look like they are ever really updated.
What I do not like about UCI is that there is no guarantee how much profit is attached to the cost of the gas. The NYMEX could be 4.99 and the cost of gas is on the bill is 5.79 it is a low price but how much of this profit is going to UCI it could be pennies. So if UCI gets 10 cents per every MCF used and you get the 30% shared profit you will will get 3 cents per unit. There are better places to use your time I think
